With the tropical weekend approaching, this is the perfect time to head out onto the Meuse. At Kajak Maasland, you experience the Meuse Valley as it is meant to be: pure, relaxing, and adventurous.
The popular 13-kilometer route runs from Smeermaas to Kotem and takes you through the most beautiful part of Rivierpark Maasvallei. Along the way, you will pass unspoiled nature, quiet riverbanks, and, if you are lucky, even grazing Galloways or Konik horses. Conveniently, those who wish can make use of the optional bus transport from Kotem to the starting point in Smeermaas.
Summer bars open during the Pentecost weekend
As if a kayak trip in itself were not enough, the summer bars are also reopening their doors. Maasbar in Maasmechelen and Maasvalley in Herbricht welcome visitors during the Whitsun weekend on Saturday 23 May from 12:00 p.m., Sunday 24 May from 10:00 a.m. and Monday 25 May from 10:00 a.m. From then on, they are open every weekend from 10:00 a.m., and from the end of June until September even 7 days a week again. (More news about this will follow later)
This makes Summer in Maasland, enjoying the water and the opening of the summer bars. even more attractive. First a few hours of paddling, then relaxing with a refreshing drink? Honestly, that’s how a summer day should look. Be sure to also check out the page about the Summer bars or book right away via Kajak Maasland reservations.
