Can I contribute to keeping the Meuse river clean? You can!
The Meuse is a rain river. This means that sometimes the water is very high and at other times very low. As a result, there is often litter left behind that the river brings along. There are regular clean-up actions on the banks of the Meuse, but in hard-to-reach places, the waste can accumulate. These places are no problem for rafters or kayakers. Think of islands or secluded beaches.
So, if you want to combine the pleasant with the useful and want to contribute to keeping our beautiful river beautiful, that is very welcome.
In collaboration with Rivierpark Maasvallei, Kajak Maasland offers its environmentally conscious customers a free Maas Cleanup Package. Companies, schools, groups, or individuals who choose this package will be provided for free with a grabber, garbage bag, and gloves for collecting litter. In this way, we make our beautiful river even more beautiful. You can leave the collected trash in the designated place afterwards. Simply indicate in our booking form that you would like to receive a Maas Cleanup Package.
